Hi everyone. Found forsale what appears to be a M71 barrel on a 1904 1886 action. Seller believes came from factory. I'm not sure if that would have happened. An action from 1904 not likely old stock in 1936.
Thoughts, comments?

Possible, but doubtful. Old stock in Cosmoline or oiled wrapping is often found.
