I recently got a Nickel Plated Winchester 1890 Hammer/Trigger Assembly. It is numbered in the 100K range so must be old. It looks in perfect condition.

Does anyone have any history on the nickel plated models?

Wish I could find the matching receiver, but have no real hopes of doing that.

All info appreciated.

my 1876 has a nickel plated receiver.. some of it remains, but its seen a lot of use since 1883. Not too uncommon, but a very attractive feature.
