Hello again,

This is a stunning 1890 Winchester 2nd version serial # 54426 made in 1897. This is a beautiful original rifle. It has the original finish on the stocks and has most all of the original blue. The receiver and hammer still have much of the original case coloring although the pics don't show it as well. This is certainly the best condition 1890 I own. The bore is like new. As you probably know, any case colored Winchester is a prized item. I wanted to upload more pics but can seem to only upload 3.

Wayne, you have a prize with this 90. Most beautiful. In which caliber? Or did I miss this some how?

Thank you Sir...it's in 22 short. I answered a classified ad about 10 yrs ago and when I went to the old gentleman"s house to see it. my jaw almost hit the floor. Best $350 I ever spent.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I'm not firearm literate. Could be the 90 was .22 only as many early Winchesters were, but I don't know enough about the models to be sure.
