After getting a chance to shoot a friends 52C, had to have one and found this example on gunbroker last year, sans the scope. Then had to hunt down a period correct Unertl scope. It shoots quite well, though I think I need to play with the barrel band tension to optimize it. And some decent ammo would certainly help too!

yeah, those old target scopes are quite the item ... but I kinda like shooting these old girls in the old school mode..

Absolutely fantastic! I hope to obtain a Model 52 later down the road. Seen several pristine Unerti scopes like this in boxes at a show just yesterday as well as some very Nice Model 52's! Post up some more pics sometime...I personally love looking at old guns!
