Model 77 Manufactured in 1958
Posted: Sat Jun 11, 2016 10:10 pmFew months back now I acquired a Model 77, with a tube fed magazine, that was manufactured in 1958. Love these one-piece walnut stocks. These were produced from 1955 to 1963 with over 217,000 made. 10% of these were tube fed models, approximately 21,000. So kind of a rare model in some respects considering the majority were magazine fed. Already disassembled her, cleaned her and lubed her and barrel and action is together, but haven't installed back into the stock as I want to condition the stock before reinstalling. Pics to come!
