I've got an old model 1912 that was passed down via family. It was my dad's dad's gun.

In the first year they only made the 20 ga. It has a 4-digit S/N. I just recently got the short chamber lengthened to 2-3/4", it was short and had never been extended. I don't think it devalued the gun because it's not in "great" shape to begin with. Being 102 years old now...

I'll post some pics one I get some. All the pics I have of it now are before I restored it with a major cleaning, replacing missing screws, and replaced the broken firing pin. That firing pin was hard to find!

When I was a kid, I did my dad a "favor" by polishing the receiver with steel wool and Comet. :)

Nice old guns. I have a 1912 from 1915; in 16 ga. Short chamber like your 20 ga. The 16 was a 2 9/16" chamber, I've had the gun since 1956, never had the chamber lengthened or the ejection port relieved. I did screw up and put a recoil pad on it in 1957. Wish I hadna!!!
