Awesome pics! But whether they are made in New Haven or SC or even Japan doesn't matter to me as long as the quality is there. Owning two of the SC Model 70's (with more to come) and having owned several New Haven Model 70's as well as a couple pre-64 Model 70's I can say that I am totally happy with the current rifles. The Model 94's are pricier than I would like but at least they are still being made as well as a lot of other older models. Connecticut hates guns. They don't deserve a classic gun making factory--especially a factory that couldn't compete anymore. I own a 52B made in Japan by Miruko and would put it up against a New Haven original any day. One era may be over but another one has begun and I say long live it!
