Just put 10 rounds of Winchester Winlite Low Recoil 00 buckshot (WL1200) through my home defense SXP Defender. This is a low brass, 9 pellet, reduced recoil home defense shell. At my practice distance of 15, 20 and 25 ft I could have covered all the pellets with a volleyball. As you would expect the recoil and noise of the blast was noticeable less than with the standard 00 buck load. I would not hesitate, in fact I do have my SXP magazine tube loaded with this ammunition.

I might have to get myself a few rounds for my SXP.

I have been watching some YouTube reviews using low brass rounds in the SPX Defender and some folks are having trouble with it. Guess you put that story to bed...
