The problem is after I load some rounds, I'll chamber and eject the rounds to make sure everything is working well. On occasion when I chamber a round, another round gets pushed under the ramp. At this point it's trapped between the ramp and the bar connected to the lever. Is it me or the gun or both. Help

Its probably the gun..... If you look into the forward lower section of the action down past the "lifter" on close to the mag tube there are two small bumps that stop a second shell from passing while the action is closed. Sometimes these wear or break off, I fixed mine by building them up with weld and filing the bumps back down to the original size.

I check it out and your right, mine has the same problem. It's worn down just like yours, my brother in law has a welder. I'll do the same besides its cheaper than $60

Ok I was able to get the link welded and reshaped. But I still get an occasional round underneath the carrier. My I need to a bigger weld on top of the link. Any thoughts

If the rounds are still passing, then it isn't built up quite far enough. You might need to add more and re-shape again.

There are "after market" parts available for Winchesters (as well as Marlins) MidwayUSA, Brownell, and Homestead sell parts. School for thought.
