Hi everyone!

I recently got a Winchester model 1873 from my Grand Father. It is in overall good condition, but has one missing part: the front barrel band. I have attached a picture of the rifle.

If anyone knows where can I buy a replacement, I would really appreciate.

Thank you very much!

Thank you! I already got the band, however it is not threaded. Do you know how could I make a thread for the screw?

unless there's a counter sink for a screw head on one side, it should be pinned, not screwed.

perhaps you should take it to a gunsmith.............

i've got a box of old pins here, but don't know the exact size or i'd offer to send you one as a goodwill gesture.......but any competent smith should have one handy and be able to pin it for a few dollars.

or

Numrich arms sells "antique pin packs" with several different sizes included for a reasonable cost.
