Hello, I have a 1972 model 70 long action in .308 caliber. The magazine follower spring is a little weak and I have been looking for a replacement. I tried Midwest Gun Works but theirs did not fit as the dimensions were not the same as the one on my rifle. They were kind enough to let me return it. Numerich list one and the picture looked close to mine but that spring is out of stock. Does anybody out their have any suggestions as to where I might find one?

Hello Ranch Guy. Welcome to the Winchester ranch.

Bummer on the wimpy spring.

Try these folks:

They list for the pre-64. However, they entertain queries for other years
