Just picked up this little beauty yesterday. Serial number dates it to the first year of manufacture 1968 only 10,660 .308 carbines were made, production stopped in 1972. Also came with the Burris 3-9 and a leather sling.

Sweet rifle!
I have been looking for a match to my Win 100 in 243 but when I see one it is way pricey I am one gun away from Happy

The 100's are a nice rifle, I also have one of those in .284 caliber. Its a great shooter. Now ....if only I could find an 88 in .284.... Then I'd be Happy !

Wow,
That's a beauty! I need one of those for my collection. I have a M100 rifle and carbine in 308 as well as a M88 rifle (also in 308) and need a M88 carbine! Hans |
Old post resurrecting it! Very nice Carbine! Very nice stock on the Model 100.

I traded the model 100, but I still have the 88. Not hunting much anymore and I have two other 88's as well so I might downsize a bit.
