My beautiful wife bought me this Pre 64 Model 70 featherweight 308 today. I have looked this gun over and I did not find anything that makes me believe this gun was used or abused other then some small scratches on the Floorplate. I added an old Weaver K6 scope and rings to top it off. This was an awesome gift because it was my first pre 64.

thunderfx,
She is a keeper! :D
As far as the rifle is concerned, I think it has found it's home also. I just wish this weather would break so I can do some load testing.
