There's a target crown to protect the rifling but you c'ant see it very good because of the flash.
The jeweld bolt makes it look a little nicer.

I like the 3 position safety & the Bell & Carlson stock is strong it d'osent flex like the one I had on my Remingtons or Savages.I think I'm gona like my M 70.Now I only need to find myself a scope.I'm thinking silver or black? & Nikon buckmaster,Monarch or Bushnell Elite 3200.I love the Elite because of the Rainguard from previous experiance with them.

Nice pictures thanks. I do consider my model 70 a procession instrument mine is very similar to yours but i prefer wood furniture, not meaning to knock yours.

Hey nice gun! Can you tell me where you bought yours? I've been looking to buy this exact rifle but can't seem to find it anywhere. Called several dealers all over alaska but not having any luck. It appears this gun is either very popular or they aren't making them fast enough. Can you help me out?
