Picture of my new, Mod 70 Extreme Weather SS 30-06 and Mod 190 22LR.

Just picked up the Mod 70 yesterday (3/16/12). Scope is a Nikon Monarch 3-12x42SF BDC. Scope hasn't been truly mounted yet, just couldn't wait to see what it would look like with it.

Mod 190 use to belong to my Grandmother, it holds that special place in my heart. I do have a scope for it but enjoy the open sights for their plinking value.

Sorry, I don't have the best camera or camera skills.

No, sadly I haven't. The scope is mounted and bore-sighted now tho. Due to rain I was shut out, and that the nearest public range is an 1.5 hr drive from where I live. I have done some dry runs on it, and I can tell you she is nice, can't even feel the recoil. My finger has been itching to pull the trigger on a live round tho.

Picture of my groupings during sight in with 150gr Rem Cor-lokt using a rest bag up front. I have to say this rifle makes my shooting look good and should be capable of better groups with premium ammo. As far as firing, recoil was pleasant, and everything operated smooth as butter. group 4 one shot got flawed due to operator error. Either way with shots like that ill be hitting vital every time. Also after sight in i took a crack at a 3ftx3ft metal target at 400yards, 10 for 10 hit.
