Winchester SX3 Barrel Paint Defects

Okay i recently bought a brand new Winchester SX3 28" chambered in 3.5" and i noticed a weird blistering/bubbling hopefully not cracking on one side of the barrel, i am new to the winchester sx3 line of shotguns so i want to make certain nothing is wrong with the barrel...or should i send it out for warranty repairs?

I would contact Winchester with my complaint and see if they will offer to ship & fix it on their dime... Customer Service number at (800) 945-5237 or (801) 876-3440. Parts and or Service, call (800) 322-4626. |

After upon closer inspection:
This is just flux from the brazing of the barrel lug to the barrel. Possibly a little excess flux, but not a defect. |

Just inspected mine and it's not painted at all! No sign of corrosion or bubbling though. Hope this helps. |
