Ordered the Winchester SXP Defender last Friday from Buds gun shop, haven't received it yet, all the reviews I read sounded really good.

Only thing i'm not real clear on is can you shoot 3 inch magnum shells in it with damaging the gun, one video review I seen they said they run some magnums thru it with no problems. but really haven't seen it in print, was wondering if anyone knew for sure.

thanks for the info shooter 13, now I am going go where my girlfriend works and buy all the 12 ga. they have, they are going out of business and have Remington nitro steel 4 shot 2 3/4 magnum shells for 70 % off which comes to 5.99 for box of 25, I don't water foul hunt but for that kind of money I can trade them with hunters or just use them up
