3" vs 3 1/2"

I am going to buy a sxp but cannot make my mind up on either the black shadow which is chambered for 3 1/2" shells or the field which is chambered for 3" shells! Please help me decide as I don't know if I need the extra 1/2" also not sure what advantages it gives other than a bugger bang!!!

Bigger bang and more felt recoil...maybe a few more feet per second and a slightly longer range for the pattern.
Depends on the game targeted and the distance to same...if you think your shot will need the extra punch to reach the target and drop it...go for the 3.5

Did you get the 3" or 3.5"...?
