Or markings. I mean no stamps anywhere.
No, it is not a Rossi. The metal and wood are quite old.
A guy wants to sell me this gun (it's in 44/40) but I am not sure I want to buy it.
But, have any of you ever heard of a 92 with no markings?
Googling I found one post on another site talking about some retail companeis buying Winchester to sell at their stores without such markings.
Any one know if this is true?
Thanks,
Deaf

Definitely not true. They would not have released a gun to any one without their trademark, proof stamp and serial no. Post some pics.

Ok. I have posted photos on the High Road Forum under rifles.
Any idea what this gun is? Thanks, Deaf |
