I just purchased a 1892 short. I purchased this rifle because I usually have to cut all my rifles down because of my shorter stature and arms. I usually cut them down to a 12" length of pull. This rifle comes already set LOP at 12 3/4" should not have to touch this rifle as far as length of pull goes. I could not decide on this rifle or the Marlin 1894CB in 44 Mag. LOP and the fact that I have a 9422 Winchester that I really like, plus two Browning BL-22 that were made from the same Japanese plant and those are excellently made rifles.
Looking forward to receiving it in a week or a little over a week. Coming from GrabAGun.com

Good choice on the '82 short. Please post your after action report when you launch a few rounds. Grouping and recoil report will interest me.

Thanks Red Ryder. I would hope to get it soon but I know GrabAGun is slow on shipping.

I have had my 1892 for a couple weeks now and have fell in Love with the rifle. Shoots to point of aim at 25 yards and is made to perfection. Along with my Ruger Redhawk that I bought to go along with it, they make the perfect pair.

Hot dang! Reading about guns that please is heartfelt. A tad jealous with your perfect Winchester and Ruger combo marriage. This to shall pass.
