1892 sporting rifle sights location.
Posted: Mon Jan 30, 2012 11:00 amI have a 25-20 sporting rifle made in 1894 with the octagon original barrel. The sights are not centered with the receiver but clocked slightly right. The odd thing is, when I mount the crescent butt stock on my arm where it feels natural the receiver tips slightly left and the sights are vertical.
Anyone else noticed this?
