New guy question
Posted: Sun Dec 08, 2013 9:27 amHi guys, just joined this forum in hopes of finding out more about these cool rifles. Have wanted one for awhile and finally picked up this 30-30 of 1972 vintage. It's a little loose but still a good and fun shooter.
What I would like to know is, I've seen names for the different models such as "Trapper, etc" and would like to know what mine is.
There is no saddle ring on the other side, the barrel is 20", no safety and, if you're wondering what that hump is on the other side of the receiver is, it's a scope mount that I'm waiting on some screws I ordered to take it off.
