1905 model 1894 30wcf

like to say hey to all my fellow firearm owners!
i have a 1894,year 1905 .was wondering if anybody knows if they ever ingraved the owners name on the rear sight pad at the factory.thanks for any help and any insight you may have

That was not normally done. If you can post a pic I can tell you for sure.

as you can see the edges are pretty worn down,its hard to tell if there are more letters

Not done by the factory. Are you sure that is not the maker of the sight?

have you ever seen them put a date on them.plus looking at other 1894s
it looks like they are factory.thanks for the input though

I believe that is the maker of the sight.
