Finally got my 1894 to the range with the Lyman peep sight on it. Shot great and love the Lyman sight A+ all the way around.

I see you put the Lyman near the saddle ring...guess it covered a little of the engraving too !

Shooter yes that is correct. I used the factory pre-drilled holes. It does cover just a little bit of the engraving up.

None of my firearms have modifications. I tend to covet the original layout. I don't have a concern with other owners modifying. I appreciate you using the existing holes. I also appreciate the front sight is not ramp.
