I found a N O S rounded front band at a Gander Mountain in Kenosha, Wi. wanted to replace my flat band so it would match my rounded forearm band. after removing the mag tube I was hoping to slip it over the front sight. not so it said. the center space between barrel & tube wont allow it. are they meant to be forced apart to R & R ?. then somehow clamped back to size?.

if only I'd measured first. finally found{ thanks Midwest USA } digital caliper. sure looked the same I D . tube is bigger. 180'd it & tapped right off. sharin what I found.
