Hello,

I am trying to help my dad find out how much his gun is worth.

My grandpa bought it new in the 1950's, so its for sure a pre 1964

the serial number is in the 3 millions, so 3,xxx,xxx

condition is "average" I guess, has been used for hunting for 30 years .

Everything works as it should, and shoots very accurate.

and ideas ? thanks !

** EDIT** it is 30-30 caliber.

Condition, originality and features are the catalyst for value. Without pics the average price for your description is $300-400 in my area.

If it really is in the 3 millions, it's definitely not from the 50s.

According to this site: http://oldguns.net/sn_php/windateslooku ... in1894.dat 3,000,000 would put your rifle manufacture around 1967.
