Looking for a ballpark figure on a Winchester 94 Saddle Ring Carbine WCF 30 made in 1923 per the owner bore is rough...rifling is strong...looks to be decent. Shoot well with a slight drop.

Gun was rebuilt about 10 years ago at a Gun Shop. Outward appearance of gun is beautiful.
mechanical,workings look great.
Any help please

Any old firearm rebuilt ( from 1923 ) will not be worth nearly as much as an original...and without a few pictures, anyone here would only be guessing...

Assuming this is a full magazine rifle, it's the most common caliber in one of the most common configurations. I'd be hard pressed to put $300 in it, but guns don't bring here in East TN what they might online or in other parts of the Country. If the bore's THAT bad in it, reboring to .38-55 or .32-40 might be worth considering.

Neat rifle! Thats what we all wanted from childhood on...

Refinishing reduces value to a collector.. but adds appeal to a shooter. The dark bore isnt a concern if it holds groups (noone wants to wound a deer).

Out here in Ca. It would sell quickly on a gunshow table for $400.

If all the parts are original its worth that much in parts. Take her to the range and let us know how she does.
