Just picked up a very good condition 1894

Serial # links to 1908 MFD.
Def a saddle ring carbine in .30 W.C.F
Stock is in great shape.
Bluing is mint.
Receiver is browned a bit *not rust just discoloration*

Bore is absolutely great.

The bad part is it has aftermarket sights. Both the front post and rear :/

Paid $600 for it. I know its worth a lot more.

Any idea where I could get original sights for it???

Also what do you think this rifle is worth in this condition. If i was going on a grading scale id def put it in the 90% area. Other than the sights being aftermarket i cannot find any issues whatsoever :-)

Thanks :-D

Nice find rifleman. Seems to be in better condition than most old timers. Try http://homesteadfirearms.com/ for needed parts.
