My mom had stored away my dad's 1906 Model 94 32WS SRC Carbine. Looks like the butt stock and plate was replaced at some point with a flat butt and plate. rear sight is broken. Exterior of barrel has rust, but internals and rifling are solid. Is it worth it to find a correct period butt stock? What sight would be on a carbine of that period? It is in good enough condition to shoot and I would like to get looking good again.

My 1928 SRC has a ladder sight and semi-crescent butt plate. There are several online vendors that sell Winchester stocks and sights.

Came across a 32ws sight for a carbine. I believe it was an option back in the 1906-07 time me period. Any advice?

Restoration completed, rust cleaned, and sight put back as it was a 32ws sight. It is definitely a classic.Image
