Sights for a 94

I'm trying to get a winchester 94 classic fixed up for my neighbor. It has a 26" octagon barrel and according to the serial number list its from 67. I've been looking online but it seems all of the pics show the front sight is a dovetail on a ramp so its pretty short. This gun has the dovetail directly in the barrel and the measurement I got from whats left of the front sight its .554" tall. I haven't found anything that height. I'm trying to get a new front and rear sight

You could try Numrich Gun Parts...

I looked there but they didn't have them divided up by year and all of the schematics show it with the front ramp instead of the dovetail in the barrel

I'm looking for this style sight but I think it needs to be taller. https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/1375280

Ok so I've pretty much given up finding the exact front sight that was on it. So I've found these parts and need to know what height front I should order.

Have you tried going to Winchesterguns.com support. I'd bet if you gave them the serial number, they could give you the correct info you're looking for. Heck, they might even have the parts. |

I called them before and they said they don't deal with these old guns anymore and dont even have part numbers. They gave me the number of some other place they said deals with the older ones and they weren't much help either.

Well, at least you can check those off you list so you're making progress. I just tried to find a,saddle ring for mine and came up empty too. lots of them out there but no new old stock.
