Well, here is my original... tacks and all lol.
It's my very first rifle, my baby. I took it on it's first walk into the woods, fired it's first bullet, and took care of it when it was sick, ha.
The first time I broke it was doing John Wayne tricks alone in the folks basement. I almost passed out. But I fixed it up, neatly mind you, matching checkering and all. 2nd time slipped on an icy rock. Third time I think a family member was messing with it, found it in the case in two pieces. After that time I was tempted to replace the stock, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it... so many years and too many memories.
After everything so far it still shoots straight as ever, surprisingly. I'd say close to 1000 rounds by now.
