Trigger return spring

Hello, I just joined the forum. I just bought a model 94 that was made in 1975 at a gun show. When I got her home I noteced that the trigger just flops back and forth. There dosen't seem to be a trigger return spring compared to a latter model 94 I have. I have never disassembled a model 94 befor and I don't now where to find the parts I need. I want to learn how to work on this model but I need help. Thanks.

Thank you shooter13. Does anybody know about the spring Im talking about? I see that on the pre 64 models that it is a leaf spring, on the examples I have I see a little coil spring in there.

On other forums they are saying that it is normal for the trigger to just flop back and forth. Is this true?

Yes that's true. All the marlin's have trigger flop too. That's just the way lever guns are inherently designed. |
