I own a 1956 model 70 243 FW

All the info i can find is incorrect as to my bolt spacing.

Mine is 7 1/2 center to center.

Is it a long or short or neither...?

drgbike, I also have a .243 model 70 Feather Weight from the same era and it too has a 7-1/2" bolt spacing floor plate to rear of trigger guard. I have to check my Serial no. for year of mfg.

I see short actions and long actions, I thought they were all the same. And on boyds sight it doesn't show a 7 1/2 spacing. What do I use,.
