Does anyone make aluminum/steel bedding pillars, or a pillar bedding kit for the Model 70? I have been kicking around the though of doing this to my factory wooden stock, but can't find any anywhere I look. Searched Brownell's, Midway, Numrich; even did a Google and Bing search. Nothing. Am I just chasing a pipe dream here?

I personally have not seen a kit for the factory wood stock on a Model 70 but I will see what I can dig up.

Thank you very much, I appreciate it. I am continuing to look as well. Plenty of stuff out there for the 700, not as much for the 70 it seems. Starting to make me wonder if I may be able to modify something else to work.

Try eBay they have them there and are not expensive.

They also have pillar kits that you can trim to size yourself. I buy stuff on eBay as some of the gun supply joints don't post Down Under.

Cheers

I kind of figured as much. Thanks for the effort though guys.

Jorge in Oz, I'm gonna try that. I also think I am going to try emailing Brownell's and Midway USA to see if they carry something, or if there is something that is compatible (or can be modified to fit).
