Model 70 Pillar Bedding

Does anyone make aluminum/steel bedding pillars, or a pillar bedding kit for the Model 70? I have been kicking around the though of doing this to my factory wooden stock, but can't find any anywhere I look. Searched Brownell's, Midway, Numrich; even did a Google and Bing search. Nothing. Am I just chasing a pipe dream here?

I personally have not seen a kit for the factory wood stock on a Model 70 but I will see what I can dig up.

Thank you very much, I appreciate it. I am continuing to look as well. Plenty of stuff out there for the 700, not as much for the 70 it seems. Starting to make me wonder if I may be able to modify something else to work.

Try eBay they have them there and are not expensive.

I kind of figured as much. Thanks for the effort though guys.
Jorge in Oz, I'm gonna try that. I also think I am going to try emailing Brownell's and Midway USA to see if they carry something, or if there is something that is compatible (or can be modified to fit). |
