mounts

hi everybody just purchased a .22250 coyote lite could anybody tell me what mounts i need to put a scope on it. thanks neil

Pretty much any base made for a short action Model 70 should work. Just make sure you get a matching set of rings to go with it. There are many brands and styles. If you go with a scope larger than 42mm you may need extra tall rings so that's something to keep in mind.

On a target/varmint rifle the EGW picatinny base is an affordable quality rail.

You can use any number of rings. I try to pick up TPS lightweight rings when they're on sale.

If you want something just as strong and a bit less costly, Warne bases and rings are great. I've used them for years.

Unless you're going to be shooting at really long ranges, you might want to check out Talley's one piece ring and base. Light, inexpensive as mounts go and bull strong.
