Winchester pre-64 Model 70 Alaskan

My father has a pre-64 model 70 Alaskan. He purchased it in 1957. I would like to know if anyone knows with what serial number production started with the Alaskan model. 4544** is the number, I am curious as to how early in the models production his was made. Thanks, Gary.

Gary, according to Rule's book your dad's rifle was produced in August 1959. That month's production started at 453,215 and September's started at 456,209.
