Winchester 9422 value

I ran across a model 9422 .22 S L LR at a local shop. It is in 95% condition, all metal and bluing is perfect and the detraction is some small dings in the stock. Checkered stock and has original box ( a little rough) it dates 1974. Can anyone tell me what a fair price would be on this?

The Model 9422 was introduced in 1972 and came in many different configurations. NRA grading from my 2012 Gun Digest Gun & Prices Manual indicates the following for a basic model:

EXC=$700....VG=$625...Good=$550...Fair=$325...

You could easily get around $600 in my area if its in "good" condition. Very good would be up to $750. I own two 94 22's. One is a 22 mag XTR with fancy wood & checkering, the other rifle is 1974 with a plain walnut stock chambered 22 s, l & lr. The magnums usually get an extra $50-$100 over the regular 22's and an XTR checkered model also adds around $100. I wont ever part with either of them, they are great little rifles.
