Hello all,
First post here on the forum, so I'll start off easy
Wondering why Winchester does not offer walnut stocks on all stainless models, like the Ultimate shadow. Or at least I didn't see this offered on the website. I understand the mindset that SS rifles may see adverse hunting conditions, which I do hunt in often, but I prefer stainless in all my firearms due to the rust resistant qualities of the metal, but the wood sure does look better than the "plastic: stocks with a sliver of styrofoam inserted behind the butt-plate.
I ended up ordering an Ult Shadow and fitting / bedding to get what I wanted, but it sure would be nice to have that offering from the factory. I may be wrong about the offerings but didn't see it listed
