Black Shadow

I am currently building a long range toy from a Black Shadow 300 win mag. I am starting out leaving original barrel (for now). Some places I read lists it as 1:10 twist and some (fewer) list it as 1:9. Which is correct?

Thanks! I am new to LR shooting but not hunting and am learnign a LOT! I bought this rifle used and have no idea of round count but am going to attempt to see how accurate I can make it with the standard barel for now and if I like it upgrade the barrel at a later date. Going to try using off the shelf match grade ammo until I get into reloading and I needed to know twist to select a round.

As I stated I am trying this on a budget just to see what I can accomplish (accuracy wise). Here is the model 70 as I bought it ($400).

Since then I have adjusted the trigger to a crisp 2.5 pounds and added a Choate Ultimate Sniper stock (used $150).

I have also ordered a Witt Machine clamp on brake ($110 delivered) and a Talley Mfg. 20MOA base ($70). I will post more pics as parts come in.

I like the look but it really accentuates the pencil barrel. It will probably make it worse with the brake on it. We'll see in a few weeks!
