I have a Model 70 stainless heavy barrel 308. What would be the twist rate?

The common rifling twist rate for the .308 cartridge is 1:12 |

You've managed a very generic question with scant details. Shooter 13 has provided a comparably good generic answer. Yet particularly if more than just idle curiosity, I suggest you make your own quick, simple measurement to determine the exact answer with certainty. Reference the below Google search results site for measuring rifle barrel twist. Quick, simple & a number of instructions available there.

I could not find the twist rate for that particular model on the Winchester site.

The HBV 26" stainless was a Wilson bbl 1 in 12 twist
