In 1978 Serial #'s started at 1350001.

In 1979 Serial #'s started at 1410001.

This is the model 70 TARGET which was available in 308 Winchester and 30-06 Springfield.

It was also available in "Ultra match" and "Army match" Models.

They used to rule the 1,000 yard Wimbleton Cup matches.
