Model 770 information needed
Posted: Sat Feb 04, 2017 10:31 pmhey guys, I just got 2 model 770 striped barreled actions, 1 in .308 and the other in .243. these things are heavily rusted, pitted and crusty, the bores are absolutely destroyed from rust so bad it rips up patches as you push them down the bore...
I cannot find any information on these rifles, such as parts interchangeability, years produced, or anything else. I would like to get these things together but I cannot find any parts for them, so any and all history and guidance as to what bolt, triggers, I see its a mechanical ejector style, so that too. firing pin assembly's or anything else you know would be greatly appreciated.
I'd like to breathe some new life into these guns!
