Model 64 built in 1940

I'm happy to find this group. My first rifle at age 12 was a Winchester .22 single shot; it may have been a model 67. My first shotgun was a 12 gauge Model 12. I've always admired Winchester firearms.
I am considering the purchase of a model 64 built in 1940. It is the "Deluxe" model in 30-30 in very good condition (~90%-95%). The build year is also my birth year, which makes this rifle special to me. I don't believe it has been modified in any way (no scope or sling added).
This rifle can be bought for a reasonable price, I'm sure, but neither the owner or I know what a fair, current market price should be. If someone here can use my description to quote a 'ballpark' value, we would appreciate it very much. I don't have a photo, nor do I know the serial number. Thanks.
