caught this one in Alabamas' Coosa River last Sunday night.
18 lbs whole....12 lbs of pure white filet meat.

Nice catch Bama.

I was in MS during some of my broadcasting years. Several friends were noodlers and trot line fishing. During the noodling, I stayed with the boat. Kept the boat where it was handy and the beer cold. Did a few trot line runs. Didn't care for that. More risky than noodling.

I'm on topic. I have Winchesters........

Sunday nights' fishing was even better.
that's my size 11.5 EE boot beside them as a reference.
so much weight I had to drag them part of the way back to the truck=the skinned up sides.
time for a fish-fry !!
