Hey guys. I have a second model 32-40 . 5 digit SN (10,2xx)
I have taken the action apart as far as I can go but cannot get the lever disassembled from the bolt. Lower tang is out link is lose but can't take it off till I separate the lever from the bolt. What am I missing ? All receiver screws are out . ( except a small one I think is for the cartridge guide) The rifle has sat up for the last 45 years with the stock off and the breech bolt half way open. Couldnt get the bolt to lever back so I decided to take it apart and clean. Any thoughts ?

Probably should have posted this in the 1894 section. Sorry about that.

Welcome to the Winchester Owners Forum !!

I would soak the rusted parts in WD-40 until I could get them apart...
