Hi-I figure I can introduce myself now that I actually have a Winchester (well, almost have one).
After waiting, and waiting for a new Model 70 featherweight 30-06 in walnut/blue to show up locally I gave up after 2-1/2 months and ordered one online. I'm VERY excited to get the call tomorrow to go pick it up!
This is my first high powered rifle. After handling a M70 synthetic and feeling the action compared to many other brands....I knew I had to get the a Winchester.
Hopefully it shoots as well as it looks and feels!
Take care, Josh

You got that scoped and to the range yet? If it shoots as well as my two Model 70's shoot you will be very happy indeed.

Just now getting a scope put on this week. I decided to wait for funding to get the scope that i really wanted instead of just throwing one on. Went with a Leopold VX-2, can't wait to shoot it!
