Hello all,
My name is waynes123 and I was just approved. Looking forward to learning a lot from this sight and perhaps sharing some of the info I've learned over the years.
Im 67 years old and recently retired from AT&T. I've hunted and fished most of my life and have bought and sold many guns over the years. I have a C&R license and although I like most old firearms, I have a particular fondness for the older Winchesters.
I have 3 model 1894s (pre 64) one in 32 win special made in 1915 with octagon barrel. I have a nice model 1892 SRC in 44-40 made in 1913 and I have 2 model 1906 Winchester pump 22s and 5 model 1890 Winchester pump 22s including the hard to find 1st version made in 1892, two 2nd versions (case colored) and two 3rd versions. I also collect colt SAAs and a few Marlins. But as I said, my passion is old Winchesters. I'm thrilled that I was finally approved for membership and look forward to the forum.
