Good morning everyone. I am new to the forum but a long time Winchester owner. I live in central Ohio and have enjoyed hunting and fishing all of my life. As most I am sure, work gets in the way but I try to get out as much as I can. I am looking forward to retirement in a few years and plan on spending a lot more time in the woods when that time comes.
Here is a list of the Winchesters I currently own:
Winchester 1892 (44 mag.)
Winchester 47 (22 LR)
Winchester 02 (22 LR)
Winchester Supreme O/U (12 Ga.)
Winchester Super X, Model 1 (12 Ga.)
Winchester Super X, Model 3 deer gun (12 Ga.)
I look forward to reading the posts by everyone and I hope to be able to add to the conversations.
Jim

Hey, happy holidays! Nicr to hear from Ohio. Great herd you got there, i'm a rimfire guy so your M47 appeals the most to me but the 44 is a close second(got some of both). Posts get slow here but its a nice pace.

Thanks for the welcome XLIV. I added another .22 to the list that I forgot about. I think you will like it too.

It says "Model 02, 22 short, long or extra long" on the barrel. I doubt it has much collectors value though. It doesn't have the original stock on it. In fact it's hand made and pretty rough. It was my great grandmothers. As the story goes she use to set on her back porch and shoot squirrels with it. So it's probably more of a conversation piece then a collector. If I could find an original stock for it I might be interested in replacing, but I'm sure their not cheap.

Repros out there..but its got more story that way. As they say, This is the West Sir. When legend becomes fact-print the legend.
