New to this site, a little about me
Hi guys,
My name is Neil and I am brand new to this site. A brief summary about who I am and what brings me to this site.
Just last year I got out of the Marine Corps honorably at the rank of Sgt after my 5 yr enlistment. My grandfather had just started suffering from diabetes very badly and was planning on moving back home to upstate NY where I am originally from. I had just sold my grandpa my extra pickup truck because his is getting very rusty from the salt they spread on the roads up there. Anyways I didn't want much for the truck and he had mentioned in conversation that he was interested in selling his Winchester rifle that he had bought brand new in 1969 and immediately I told him I would pay him $400 for it when I got home.
I will be the first one to tell anyone I absolutely love Winchester Lever Action Rifles. Grandpas is a .32 Winchester Special built in 1968 and I have all the original paperwork for it and even the tag that hung off it in the store. Although it's not a pre-1964 model it has a very valuable story to tell because that was my grandpas rifle that kept the farm safe from coyotes and put meat on the table for the family. Thank you all for allowing me the time if you do happen to be reading this post!
