Hello from the Adelaide Hills of South Australia.
A great Forum you blokes have got here, with plenty of reading and helpful information.
Been a member on here for a while now,and thought I better do the right thing and introduce myself.
I currently own,two Winchester Rifles.
The first Winchester is a Model 9422 of 1981 vintage, that was given to me about 8 years ago by an elderly Gentleman who is now deceased.
It was `As New` when I received it,and came with the original rifle box and hang tags,as well as 2 almost full 50 round boxes of bullets that he got with the rifle when he bought it.
So,in almost 3 decades,it had only fired a few rounds, but has now had several hundred rounds through it since I`ve owned it,and needless to say,I won`t be parting with this Firearm....................EVER.
The second Winchester is a Model 70,Classic Stainless Synthetic Featherweight,in .270Win.,that I purchased New in 1996.
I`ve only fired 237 rounds total through this Firearm,as it was purchased purely as a hunting rifle.
I also won`t be parting with this Firearm....................EVER.

So,definitely a big fan of Winchester Rifles here.

Cheers from Australia.
Wayne.

Welcome to the forum. It is always good to hear from members from other nations with other perspectives and experiences. You have two dandy rifles as I am sure you already know.

Hello Wayne, in case I missed posting a previous welcome......a hardy welcome.

You did good with the like-new 94. My opinion is the Winchester 94 is still the best lever on the market. Winchester has made some unpopular decisions with changes to the pre-64.
